1. To the moon and (never) back | Today - July 23rd, 2023

This exhibition is about rephrasing the familiar phrase “I love you to the moon and back” to “I love you to the moon and (never) back.” that can be interpreted in two ways:

  • “I love you so much that it exceeds description, as far as the distance of 477,710 miles from the moon to the Earth”: It emphasized an immeasurable and boundless love, comparing it to the vast distance between the moon and the Earth.
  • “I love you to the moon, but (never) back”: It implies that the love is so strong and enduring that it extends to the moon, but there is no turning back or an end to the love. The word “never” in parentheses can be included or excluded based on the desired meaning.

Both interpretations convey a deep and intense love, but the specific meaning may vary depending on the context and the intention of the speaker.

The artworks in this exhibition are created by 9 artists, including Art Jeeno, Art of Hongtae, Chubbynida, Munins, Peachful, toddyinthemood, Tum Ulit, UnderHatDaddy, and Viput A.

In this exhibition, it will take you on a journey to explore love and embark on lunar exploration. It is filled with various emotions, including hope, dreams, happiness, anticipation, longing, uncertainty, and pain. Sometimes, the journey to the moon may uncover someone hidden within our memories throughout time.
