Thailand’s EV board is confirmed to support electric vehicle use in phase 2 (EV3.5) spanning 4 years (AD 2024-2027), with a maximum injection of 100,000 baht per vehicle.

EV 3.5 is the Thailand government's initiative to provide financial support for electric vehicles, including cars, trucks, and motorcycles. The support varies based on the vehicle type and battery size as follows.

EV Car:

  • Electric cars priced under 2 million Baht with a battery size of 50 kWh or more will receive support ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 Baht per vehicle.
  • Electric cars with a battery size below 50 kWh will receive support ranging from 20,000 to 50,000 Baht per vehicle.

EV Truck:

  • Electric trucks priced under 2 million Baht with a battery size of 50 kWh or more will receive support ranging from 50,000 to 100,000 Baht per vehicle.

EV Motorcycle:

  • Electric motorcycles priced under 150,000 Baht with a battery size of 3 kWh or more will receive support ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 Baht per vehicle.
