At Auto Shanghai 2025, in addition to a strong presence from Chinese automakers showcasing new production models and concept vehicles, Japanese brands also made a notable impact with their latest offerings.

One of the standout models from the Japanese side is the Toyota bZ7, an all-electric vehicle in a sedan body style!

The exterior design of the Toyota bZ7 is an evolution of the Toyota Comfortable Space concept first revealed in 2023. It features signature C-shaped headlights, with the main lighting units integrated into the front bumper. The rear adopts a fastback-like sloping roofline and a full-width taillight bar. A LiDAR sensor is positioned above the roof for advanced driver assistance functions.

Inside, Toyota goes all out with advanced infotainment technology. The bZ7 features a large display powered by Huawei's Harmony OS and a minimalist digital instrument panel that adds a touch of luxury to the cabin.

Although the vehicle has made its official debut—allowing attendees to sit inside and explore the cabin design—Toyota has yet to announce pricing, pre-orders, motor specifications, or battery details. The bZ7 marks the beginning of a new series of electric sedans under the Toyota brand!
