Mitsubishi Motors to Unveil New Electric SUV Concept at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show

Mitsubishi Motors has officially announced its participation in the Japan Mobility Show 2025, taking place from October 29 to November 9, 2025. Under the theme “Forever Adventure,” the Japanese automaker aims to inspire visitors to rediscover the joy of exploration and experience the future of sustainable mobility.

At the center of Mitsubishi’s booth will be the world premiere of a new all-electric SUV concept, marking the brand’s next step toward electrification. While the company has not revealed the model’s name yet, the concept is said to combine urban practicality with true SUV performance, enhanced by Mitsubishi’s expertise in EV and all-wheel-drive technologies.

The design focuses on creating a more fulfilling in-car experience, offering a space where comfort, technology, and personalization meet. According to Mitsubishi, the vehicle will go beyond being just transportation—it aims to become a “lifestyle companion” that enriches every journey.

Interactive and Immersive Booth Experience

To bring its “Forever Adventure” vision to life, Mitsubishi Motors has curated five interactive zones at its booth:

1. Drive Your Future – An immersive driving simulator that allows visitors to virtually experience the new electric SUV in adventure settings.
2. My Adventure Stories – A sound installation featuring real-life driving experiences from models like the Delica D:5, Delica Mini, Outlander PHEV, and Triton, woven into captivating audio stories.
3. My Adventure Playlist – A nostalgic experience featuring iconic songs from Mitsubishi’s past TV commercials, celebrating decades of adventurous spirit.
4. Future Delimaru – A futuristic robotic version of Mitsubishi’s green dog mascot, first introduced with the Delica Mini. The multilingual robot will greet and interact with visitors throughout the event.
5. Find Delimaru – A digital stamp rally where guests can hunt for hidden stamps across the exhibition area to win exclusive Mitsubishi merchandise.

In addition to the new EV concept, Mitsubishi Motors will also display production and performance models, including the Delica Mini, eK Space, Outlander PHEV, Delica D:5, and the Triton Rally Car, winner of the 2025 ACCR Championship.

With its upcoming debut, Mitsubishi Motors reinforces its commitment to innovation and sustainability—promising a future where adventure and electric mobility go hand in hand.
