Coming Soon! ZEEKR 009 prepares for update! 912hp electric MPV with 900V tech and super fast charging

The updated Zeekr 009 is set to officially launch on May 19 in China, featuring upgraded specifications, 912 hp and equipped with 6C ultra-fast charging from CATL.

Information regarding this upgraded luxury MPV appeared in regulatory documents back in March, and pre-orders have been open since the recent Beijing Auto Show. There will be three variants available (in China):

• Ultra (7-seater)
• Ultra+ Qijia (7-seater)
• Ultra+ Executive (6-seater)

Interior Updates

While the exterior design retains its original identity, the interior has been improved in several areas:

• A newly designed steering wheel and a crystal rotary knob on the centre console.
• All seats are equipped with multi-directional electric adjustment, ventilation, and massage functions.
• The second-row seats in the 6-seater model are "Zero-gravity" chairs with 22-point massage and kneading functions.
• In the 7-seater model, the second-row seats can rotate and come with a 17-inch OLED ceiling-mounted screen.

Smart Technology and Safety Updates

The new Zeekr 009 is powered by the Thor-U chip, which boasts a computing power of up to 700 TOPS. It comes standard with the H7G-ASD driver assistance system and is equipped with more than 70 active safety systems.

Power, Performance, and Charging

The All-Wheel Drive (Dual-motor) model has been upgraded to a 900V high-voltage architecture, paired with the 6C Qilin battery from CATL.

• Single-motor model: Max power of 310 kW (416 hp), 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, with a maximum range of 740 km.
• Dual-motor model: Max power of 680 kW (912 hp), 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, with a maximum range of 720 km.

Charging Efficiency:

• Single-motor model: 10% to 80% charge in just 11.4 minutes (0.19 hours).
• Dual-motor model: 10% to 80% charge in just 10.2 minutes (0.17 hours).

Additionally, the vehicle is fitted with a closed dual-chamber air suspension system and CCD electromagnetic dual-valve dampers to enhance ride smoothness and handling.

The Market Situation

Regarding the sales situation in China, last year the Zeekr 009 averaged approximately 1,000 units per month, peaking at 4,201 units in November 2024. However, sales this year have dropped slightly below the 1,000-unit mark. The launch of this updated version could be a key factor in driving sales back up.

In Thailand, the Zeekr brand is continuously gaining popularity. Currently, Zeekr Thailand is preparing plans to bring the 900V architecture Minor Change version to the market. Please stay tuned for further close updates.
