In the first half of 2026, Mercedes-Benz Thailand recorded 3,557 total vehicle registrations and 2,845 sales. Pure electric vehicle (BEV) registrations grew by 130%, fueled by high demand for The all-new electric CLA, which secured over 300 sales within its first two months of launch, alongside an order backlog of more than 1,350 units.
Local assembly at the Thonburi Group plant maintains a production capacity of 100–200 units per month, partnering with Power Tech Energy Solutions Co., Ltd. for high-voltage battery sourcing.
Other key segments also posted strong growth:
- Mercedes-Maybach: Sales up by 83%
- G-Class: Sales up by 100%
- Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV): Overall segment up by 34%
- Vans: Sprinter up by 83%, V-Class up by 14%
Global Sales Overview & Upcoming Models
In Q2 2026, Mercedes-Benz delivered 511,900 vehicles globally. Global EV sales rose by 50% to 52,900 units (accounting for 13% of total passenger car sales), led by the all-new electric CLA and GLC.
Looking ahead, bookings are opening for the all-new electric C-Class, with the World Premiere of the all-new electric GLA scheduled for late February/July. For Top-End Luxury buyers, The new S-Class and The new Mercedes-Maybach S-Class are slated for an official Thai launch in late 2026.
