Leapmotor, under Stellantis, has revealed the interior images of its flagship minivan, the “D99”, with adjustable rotating seats, along with EV 1000V and EREV powertrain options.

The Leapmotor D99 is a full-size luxury MPV minivan built on the advanced technological architecture “LEAP 4.0,” following the debut of its exterior design late last year. This vehicle is fully loaded with comfort options like a mobile living room, packed with dual-chamber air suspension technology and an incredibly powerful driving processing chip, completely ready to challenge premium competitors in the global market.

Key Highlights:

• The second-row seats can rotate 90 and 180 degrees to face the third row, complete with a large central table.
• The front and third-row seats can recline flat to connect into a bed, and the third-row seats can be folded completely flat or flipped backwards to become a “trunk seat.”
• Powertrain choices include the EV 1000V version (115 kWh battery, 700 km range) and the EREV 800V version (352 km pure electric range, with a 1.5T engine for power generation).

• Reclining first and third-row seats: The front pair of seats can recline down to connect with the second-row seats to continuously create a “long bed.”
• Versatile third-row seats: Comes with a heating system and electric folding mechanism; they can fold completely flat into the trunk floor, or flip backwards to transform into a “fishing seat” for relaxing at the back of the vehicle.
• Complete entertainment: The front dashboard design inherits from the D19 model, featuring a large central screen, an LCD instrument cluster, and a Head-Up Display (HUD), along with a ceiling-mounted entertainment screen for rear passengers.

Exterior Design and Body Dimensions

The exterior maintains the brand's unique Tech-Nature identity with layered headlights and pie-shaped wheels. However, what sets it apart is the installation of intelligent DLP Projection Headlights that can project images onto the ground, and an ISD Interactive Light Screen rear panel utilizing up to 8,260 LEDs to communicate messages or animations to vehicles behind.

Body dimensions measure 5,280 mm in length / 1,995 mm in width / 1,880 - 1,900 mm in height, with a long wheelbase of 3,110 mm, providing a level of airiness comparable to an executive van.

Regarding official retail pricing and delivery schedules across regions, exact figures have not yet been announced. However, releasing this set of interior cabin photos signals readiness to join the battle in the luxury minivan segment with an expected price level of around 300,000 Yuan (approximately 1.5 million THB).

The current point of interest is the strength of the Leapmotor brand, whose sales in April 2026 hit a record high of 71,387 units, growing 73.9% compared to last year. This reflects the immense consumer acceptance the brand has started to receive. When combining forces with the global network of Stellantis, this D99 minivan model stands a very high chance of being exported to premium markets in Europe, and potentially Southeast Asia in the future.
