Honda Super-ONE launched in Japan at 790,000 THB – A sporty mini-EV with a 274 km range
Honda Super-ONE announces its retail price in Japan, unveiling a mini-EV that builds upon the N-ONE e: compact van, but focus on an exhilarating driving experience at a price of 790,000 THB.
Honda Motor (Japan) has officially announced the launch of the Honda Super-ONE, its latest sporty compact electric vehicle developed under the concept of "e: Dash BOOSTER." The vehicle aims to deliver a daily commuting experience that is full of sports car characteristics: "fun, agile, and exciting."
Honda has set the retail price in Japan at 3,390,200 Yen, which is approximately 790,000 THB.
Key Highlights:
- Modified baseline chassis of the N-ONE e:, equipped with wheel arches widened by 40 mm to maximize road grip.
- “Boost Mode” unleashes the electric motor's maximum output at the touch of a fingertip, pushing it from the standard 47 kW to 70 kW (94 horsepower).
- A simulated 7-speed virtual gear ratio system works in tandem with the Active Sound Control synthetic audio speakers.
- Supports external power supply capabilities for electronic appliances up to 1,500 Watts (V2L) via the Honda Power Supply Connector.
- Comprehensively secured with Honda SENSING and Google Built-in entertainment systems as standard.

Design & Packaging: Wide Body Makeover
While the core structure remains a small, boxy Kei-car style vehicle, the Honda Super-ONE's exterior image has been significantly enhanced to appear aggressive and sporty:
- Blister Fender: Flared wheel arches are added around the vehicle alongside an aerodynamic body kit to optimise airflow.
- Widened Track: The distance between the left and right wheels is expanded by an additional 40 mm compared to the standard model (bringing it to 1,345 mm), blending with wide, large-diameter wheels and tyres for maximum cornering and road-holding performance.
- Ultra-Lightweight Body: Weighing just 1,090 kilograms, the car delivers highly agile weight distribution and steering control, ensuring solid stability at high speeds.
Powertrain and Battery
The Super-ONE is driven by a highly efficient, compact electric motor layout called the “e-Axle,” utilizing a Front-Wheel Drive (FWD) system paired with a high-capacity battery pack mounted beneath the floor. Drivers can choose from five distinct driving modes: ECON, CITY, NORMAL, SPORT, and the top-tier performance mode, BOOST.
7-Speed and Exhilarating Throttle Sound
- CITY Mode: Supports Single-pedal Control, enabling the driver to accelerate, decelerate, and bring the vehicle to a complete, smooth stop using only the accelerator pedal, reducing fatigue during heavy traffic.
- BOOST Mode: When activated, the system delivers peak electrical current to unlock maximum performance potential, jumping from the standard 47 kW (63 hp) up to a peak of 70 kW or 94 horsepower, along with an engaging maximum torque of 162 Nm.
- 7-Speed Virtual Gearbox: When the driver selects SPORT or BOOST mode, the vehicle activates a 7-speed virtual stepped shift function via Paddle Shifters behind the steering wheel. This coordinates with the Active Sound Control system, which pumps simulated sports engine noises into the cabin according to the throttle input to enhance driving engagement (audible only inside the cockpit).
Furthermore, the vehicle is equipped with a battery capacity perfectly suited for everyday use, achieving a maximum driving range of up to 274 kilometres per charge (WLTC). It supports AC charging to full in approximately 4.5 hours and is compatible with DC Fast Charging to charge from 20% to 80% in 30 minutes.

Pricing and Trajectory for Thai Market
In Japan, the official price was launched on May 22, 2026, at 3,390,200 Yen, which translates to roughly 790,000 Thai Baht. It makes its debut with an exclusive highlight colour option: a premium pearlescent shifting purple called Boost Violet Pearl.
For Thailand – Currently, the demand for small electric vehicles with high performance is continuously expanding. There is a strong possibility that Honda Thailand is preparing to introduce the Honda Super-ONE to the domestic market as a fully imported Completely Built-Up (CBU) unit from Japan. If approved and marketed in Thailand, it is anticipated that the retail price—after deducting domestic EV tax privileges—should sit no lower than its Japanese pricing and will likely not deviate too far from the 800,000 Baht threshold. This price bracket will place it in a direct head-to-head battle against several established compact EV contenders from China.
