The NX7 will offer dual powertrain choices, including a pure battery-electric (BEV) setup and an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) powertrain.

Global Export Strategy
Dongfeng Nissan plans to position the NX7 as a flagship export model for global markets. This follows the establishment of a dedicated export joint venture formed on 25 June 2025 between Dongfeng Motor (40% stake) and Nissan subsidiary NCIC (60% stake), backed by a registered capital of 1 billion yuan.
Nissan remains confident that China-produced electric vehicles offer exceptional value, high technology, and competitive pricing capable of attracting international buyers. Looking ahead, Nissan also plans to expand its Chinese lineup further with additional EV models, including its first pure-electric pickup truck.
