Positioned as a versatile C-segment Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV), the STARRAY EM-R offers the smooth driving feel of a pure electric vehicle alongside the long-distance freedom of petrol-powered backup.

EM-R Powertrain and 11-in-1 Electric Motor
The STARRAY EM-R features GEELY’s latest Range Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) system. Wheels are driven exclusively by the electric motor, while an efficient 1.5-litre 4-cylinder engine acts solely as an onboard power generator:
- 11-in-1 Motor Unit: Combines 11 core powertrain components into a single compact housing, outputting 160 kW (218 PS) and 262 Nm of torque.
- 3 Drive Modes: Drivers can select between Pure (100% electric), Hybrid (automatic generator engagement when needed), and Power (continuous generator operation for peak performance).
