Marketing Communications & Public Relations Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Marketing Communications and Public Relations Executive to manage and support marketing communications and social media marketing. You will be responsible for communicating key message externally via marketing campaigns, marketing activities and social media such as creating original content, managing posts, and responding to followers’ enquiries. You should be knowledgeable about the best posting times for each social media platform. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to gain invaluable experience in this industry.

Responsibilities

Marketing Communications

  • Involve in developing and executing marketing and campaign plans
  • Develop internal and external communications messages and align it with marketing objectives
  • Handling email marketing such as dedicated EDMs and e-Newletters
  • Customers engagement via web and app
  • Respond to customers queries
  • Developing new social media strategies and campaigns
  • Content planning and strategy for social media pages to garner a stronger and more engaging digital and social presence.
  • Creating content, including text posts, video and images for use on social media
  • Promoting products, services and content over social media
  • Analyse social media trend to improve social media presence
  • Ability to strike a delicate balance between publishing frequent outputs and maintaining consumers' interest.
  • Managing monthly budget to be spent on promoting social media platforms to increase followers and engagements
  • Keeping track of data and analysing the performance of social media campaigns
  • Respond to inquiries on social media platforms in a timely manner

Public Relations

  • Plan and execute innovative PR campaigns, from idea conception to post-project analysis
  • Create press releases, speeches and messages that shape public opinion of the company to increase brand awareness
  • Explore and capitalise on potential partnership and sponsorship opportunities
  • Arrange for interviews or public events
  • Manage company and management LinkedIn account
  • Build and maintain relationship with media, celebrities, mBassadors and social influencers
  • Handle media enquiries

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 – 3 years of experience in marketing communications and/or social media marketing is preferred.
  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Marketing Communications/Marketing Management
  • Proficiency in Photoshop/Canva and other photo editing software will be an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in social media management is essential
  • Excellent copywriting and communication skills
  • Enjoys brainstorming and developing ideas through to completion
  • Stays up to date with the latest digital and social trends
  • Well organised and open to new ideas
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
  • Strong project and time-management skills
  • Proactive and a team player

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Marketing/Marketing Communications/Marketing Management
