OMODA 4 debuts at Beijing Auto Show 2026 – The new face of global smart mobility
OMODA & JAECOO has once again disrupted the industry as the world’s fastest-growing automotive brand, unveiling the OMODA 4 at the Beijing Auto Show 2026.
Featuring the cutting-edge SHS-H (Super Hybrid System), the same high-efficiency tech recently introduced in the OMODA 5. This new model emphasizes "cyber-mecha" aesthetics, urban connectivity, and advanced ADAS. While international markets embrace the hybrid variant, Thailand remains focused on the pure EV version (expected as the OMODA C4 EV).
Celebrating 1 Million Global Users
Founded only in 2023, OMODA & JAECOO has achieved a historic milestone, surpassing 1,000,000 cumulative global users in less than three years. To mark this achievement, the brand hosted a high-energy "Innovation & Music" festival at their booth, strengthening ties with the LOHAS (Lifestyle of Health and Sustainability) community worldwide.
The Thailand Line-up: 2026 Status
In Thailand, the brand continues its aggressive expansion, prioritizing high-value New Energy Vehicles (NEVs). While the SHS-H powertrain is currently limited to the JAECOO 7 in the local market, the pure EV range dominates the showrooms:
- OMODA C5 EV: Starting at 629,000 THB (Max+). 50.6 kWh battery with a 422 km range (NEDC).
- JAECOO 6 EV: The rugged "box-SUV." Priced between 849,000 – 1,049,000 THB with AWD options.
- JAECOO 7 SHS: A premium mid-size hybrid SUV with a 106 km electric-only range (NEDC). Starting at 899,000 THB.
- JAECOO 5 EV: A compact B-SUV featuring a premium "squared" design. Priced from approximately 579,000 THB.
- OMODA C4 EV : Anticipated for a late-2026 launch in Thailand. This "little brother" to the C5 is expected to debut with a startling price tag of around 500,000 – 530,000 THB.

Deep Dive: SHS-H (Super Hybrid System) Technology
Developed by parent company Chery, the SHS-H system is designed to eliminate the limitations of traditional hybrids:
- The Powertrain: A 1.5-litre Turbo engine paired with high-efficiency electric motors and a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) featuring 9 intelligent driving modes.
- Performance: A combined output of 150 kW (204 hp), enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just 7.9 seconds (tested in the OMODA 5).
- Efficiency: Capable of a total driving range of 1,000 – 1,200 km on a single tank/charge.
- Intelligence: Seamlessly switches between Series (generator), Parallel (dual-drive), and EV modes without driver intervention.

OMODA Thailand is currently evaluating the SHS-H (HEV/PHEV) powertrain to complement its EV line-up. We expect to see these hybrid variants enter the market by late 2026 or early 2027, positioned as an accessible alternative to their pure EV counterparts.
