- Retuned Motor: All sub-trim levels now utilise a front-wheel-drive electric motor producing 70 kW (94 hp) and 180 Nm of torque. Although reduced from the previous 130 kW motor variant, it prioritises energy efficiency and overall operational performance.
- Charging System: Supports DC Fast Charging, capable of charging the battery from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Design and Functionality
The 2027 BYD Atto 2 maintains its overall body dimensions at 4,310 mm long, 1,830 mm wide, 1,675 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,620 mm, built on the e-Platform 3.0 featuring Cell-to-Body (CTB) technology. On the exterior, new colour options have been added, including Energetic Yellow and Oxygen Blue, paired with 17-inch aerodynamic low-drag alloy wheels.
- Relocated Gear Selector: The crystal gear knob on the centre console has been replaced with a steering-column stalk. This frees up space on the centre console for a more convenient 50W high-speed wireless charging pad equipped with a cooling fan.
- Infotainment System: Features an 8.8-inch digital driver display paired with BYD’s signature 12.8-inch rotating central touchscreen, powered by the DiLink 100 system with 4-zone voice control support.
- Comfort & Convenience: Comes with a panoramic sunroof with an electric sunshade, ventilated and heated front seats, rear air vents, and a rear cargo space that expands up to 1,320 litres when the rear seats are folded down.
